Animal Reiki
Reiki can also benefit animals, but it depends on the animal whether treatment is accepted and successful. I have successfully treated cats and dogs.
As with humans, Reiki is a shared experience between the Practitioner and the animal. Healing entirely depends on their relationship and connectivity.
This is an alternative therapy for animals.
Reiki for animals is a non-invasive complementary treatment that can strengthen the connection between animals and their carer. It helps maintain health, emotional and energetic levels by increasing the animals feeling of relaxation while reducing tension and anxiety.
I recommend that treatments take place where the animal is most comfortable.
They do not need to be confined or restrained and should be free to move around if they wish.
Animals often pick up on their human carers in-balance and mirror symptoms. In these circumstances I will suggest treatments for both the human carer and the animal.
Reiki with animals is no substitute for professional veterinary care. If you have any concerns about your animal’s wellbeing consult and follow the advice and treatments from your vet.
Treatments offered in person are for 1 hour.
Treatments offered via Zoom as a distance treatment are for 30 minutes.
Palliative Care for Animals
Reiki can be beneficial for both the animal and the carers during palliative care.
It can help all involved to ease pain, tension and anxiety while bringing a sense of peace and tranquility which can enable our beloved animals to pass with grace and love.
